Hey hey, first post of the regular Tunage, nothing much new and life changing for the beginning of this year which is alright, though work was a doozy, hope you all had a mellow beginning and that the rest of the year will follow the same.
kiiara - Say Anymore
You'd be forgiven in thinking this was akin to a poppy rnb song but actually kiiara has the commercial characteristics but with experimental indie sensibilities, this has to be her most pop track for me, but go through her library, heck she even got remixed by Felix Cartel
I am just so excited for this album to drop, I love the atmosphere that Wild Nothing brings with every track brought out, this one is no exception, hints of the african landscape dream to mind...
Been awhile since the Del Rey was on here, but thanks to Munk, we have a nice deep house number slapped on our laps.
So like the same guy that gave the world this amazing musical memory many many moons ago, has blessed us once again with a remix of non other than Tycho, I must confess that this give me the warm feelings inside. This is but one track off Tycho's Awake Remix album out of January 15th, get on that sheet.
A lovely remix from a cool original, full on summer vibes even though as I'm typing this my hands are frozen. The end. Listen now.
Extra
I just recently discovered this musical of a gem, Daryl Hall has embraced the digital age and set up Live from Daryls House, where he performs with artists both established and up and coming, basically just jamming and its great the likes of Chromeo, John Rzeznik (Goo Goo Dolls), Be Folds and Mayer Hawthorne, heres him with KT Tunstall doing "Out if Touch"
oh and I just have to include "Slide" so cool!
